Hammond and Boylston

This plan drawing shows Northeastern University students' proposal for the intersection of Hammond Street and Boylston Street. This is the first in a sequence of images of plans taped up for display at a March 14, 2011 meeting in Brookline. The sequence goes south along Hammond Street, then east along Newton Street. It is unclear how two-way sidepath on the east side of Hammond Street is meant to cross Boylston Street (Route 9). There is a pedestrian crosswalk. See also the image of this location from the meeting presentation.

Cross-section south of Heath Street, though no cross-section lines are shown in the plan drawing.

You may click on the image to see a larger version in which the labels are readable. A version with north at the top also is available.
